The E.W. Smith Publishing Co., is best known in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York State as the publisher of The Sentinel, our twice weekly newspaper which has served the eastern Orange County since its inception in 1979. Our company also publishes The Blotter, a law enforcement newspaper serving law enforcement professionals; The Aviator, a newspaper serving the aviation community throughout the east coast and Country Times, a monthly newspaper that focuses on country living.

In addition to our publications, the E.W. Smith Publishing Company, Inc. owns and operates Sentinel Printing Services (SPS Printing), a full service commercial printing operation offering offset sheet fed, digital, and web press printing. SPS Printing is a union shop producing high quality printed materials of all kinds at very competitive prices. Our graphic arts department has received high praise for designing materials for a wide variety of promotional and political campaigns.
